International Indian Rally 2022 Borculo

The Dutch Indian Motorcycle Club invites all Indian riders to join the 2022 International Indian Rally from July 29 – 31 in the Netherlands. The rally will be held at Kerkemeijer, Borculo, in the region called ‘de Achterhoek’. Famous for it’s castle’s, the smallest city of Holland, Grolsch-beer, dialect and Normaal. But also for it’s great countryside with plenty opportunities for nice rides. Traditionally it is of course possible to arrive from Wednesday 27nd. Food is available at the rally site. We will have a few routes for you to entertain yourself and enjoy the Dutch roads and sights.

In 2001 we remembered that it was 100 years ago that Oscar Hedström and George Hendee built their first Indian Motorcycle and in 2011 the first, second and third place for the Indian factory racing team that took part in the Isle of Man TT. In 2020 we planned to celebrate 100 years of the Indian Scout, this could not happen. Therefore in 2022 we will celebrate 102 years of Indian Scout!

In addition to the registration page for the International Indian Rally at Kerkemeijer in Borculo some of you might want to add additional time to spend in the area. For this purpose we have here a list of sights and things to do plus possibilities for spending the night.

International Indian Rally 2011 Zeddam

1911 Isle of Man TT memories

With our previous International Indian Rally in 2001 we remembered that it was 100 years ago that Oscar Hedström and George Hendee built their first Indian Motorcycle. In 2011 we will remember the great results of the Indian factory racing team that took part on the Isle of Man TT and finished first, second and third. Oliver Godfrey after his TT-win 1911 It was the first year that the TT took place on the famous and very difficult to ride Mountain Circuit.

The brave men who did this on their Indian racers were Oliver Godfrey, Charles Franklin and Arthur Moorhouse. This triple Indian victory showed the world that the V-twin engine with a two-speed gearbox and chain driven Indian motorcycle was the best you could get. Until the late thirties almost all land-speed records and long-distance records were set by Indian riders all over the world.

The Dutch Indian Motorcycle Club invites all Indian riders to join the 2011 International Indian Rally on July 29 – 31 in the Netherlands to celibrate this triple victory.

Because of the great success during our International Rally in 2001 we will once again put up our wigwams at Party Center “De Heereboer” at Zeddam. This old in 1907 build farm and its large premises offers us all the space and supplies that we need for the biggest ever European Indian Motorcycle meeting that we have in mind.

For those who prefer a hotel or private bungalow there are a lot of possibilities. Check them on our website. The Village Zeddam is situated close to highway Arnhem (NL) – Oberhausen (D), close to the German border, so very easy accessible from all directions.
